Oh the schemes! Colorschemes that is…
Still figuring out what i like best, some viewers have a distinct liking to the coloered variants, and to be honest i do see whats the fun in that. But i can’t deny that i am intrigued by the black and white variant for the comic as well. At this point i am experimenting with different toners to enhance the emotions in the black and white variants.
it’s cheaper and easier to letting them be printed. On the other hand the DSM4 have their 4 basic colors i like to use. This may eventually be useless might i choose to publich the comics in B&W. Ah soo many questions!

But apart from that the website has its own quirks. Seems that my own video resolution is 1900 x 1200. and checking my website on my own pc makes it look way better than i recently checked elsewhere. Pictures shown aren’t always full size but compromized to a smaller file. Making the presentation a bit “off” scale.
Also noticed on different computers that some pictures hold irregularities in their colorschemes. For instance the “anarchy” pic. Either on the web, or in any of my art sortware the pictures look just how they should be. yet checking it elsewhere i have noticed some off white strokes and rimms due to the copy/ paste progress before the coloring. I need to sort this, and my workflow out as well.
Thats pretty sucky, cus i have no clue on how to fix that.
Another thing, recurring at every inspiration wave, is that character tend to change for the better. Keeping me stuck in a loop before going on with comics having me stranded on the try outs and one window pictures.
Soon i will add a 4th link on the homepage for the actual finished comics. keeping the one-window pictures under a seperate link and calling them “evolution” there i can show, and see for myself, on how the character are evolving. Just like any other comic or cartoon evolution iis part of their development. Still it buggs the hell out of me for not having a decent set format.

After many months of contemplating, pondering, multi-disciplinary meetings, rapports, observating and evaluating. The ward has finally opened its doors. The homepage has been revamped and madness is all about!
With growing pains, lunacy and inspiration brewing like an alchemist’s calcinator the site will mature over time. In the comming months (or at my pace years…) it will result in more characters being introduced and stories growing more complex i.e. multi-windowed stories or even ongoing storlines.
But after taking a psychiatric risk assesment form your free to browse the all new www.indi-d.com
have fun, and take your meds!

When I was working on the whole DSM4 background, it made me think of their origin. They are from outerspace, mad as hell I wondered how they cam einto contact with a race, the Froidians, so totally the opposide. So I drew a small galaxy . Not sure if i will keep to this but it sure was funny, the galaxy is made out of the same basic colors I will use for the four characters I have as a concept. And all planets are edited pills and capsules I found your the web.

Going to the basics to figure out what the DSM4 are to me as an artist, the first think i could think of was the “Vitruvian Man” by Leonardo Da Vinci. A DSM4 in his honor.
